Tongue In Cheek is a two woman  theatre company.   Dawn Buchanan and Louise Nulty met at Drama School in Manchester and went on to form Tongue in Cheek.  They've performed in many and varied venues and last year, were nominated for both best actor and best show at the Buxton Festival Fringe.

Tongue in Cheek brings some of Dickens’ most colourful women to life -  and unites them through love, loss and donkeys!   David Copperfield,  Martin Chuzzlewit,  Pip and his Great Expectations…..Behind every great man there's a woman….... Learn the Art of Sick Nursing with Sairey Gamp  as she sheds some light on those twin mysteries of  existence ......  birth and death.  Meet Betsey Trotwood  who brings you the very latest news from the front as she continues her war against donkeys. Find out if the Spenlow Sisters give their blessing to a love struck young suitor    - or will Mister Pidger throw a spanner in the works? The characters are fresh, funny and resonant for our times, they may remind you of someone you know.
