CREAM
OF FISH AND SEAFOOD SOUP
Chicken pieces marinated in ginger, garlic, chilli
& mint. Skewered, grilled and served hot with a yoghurt, mint,
cucumber & garlic dressing
MACARONI CHEESE ( vegi ) flavoured with saffron and mustard
BREAKFAST FRITTATA
a set Italian style omelette made with mushrooms and sliced sausages. Served with our own made baked beans topped with crispy bacon
CAULIFLOWER AND CARROT TERRINE with cashew nut pickle
FISH CAKES ( can also be ordered as a main course )
made with our own hot-smoked salmon and flavoured with dill. Served with lemon mayonnaise

BREAST Roasted and served with new potatoes in a creamy rosemary
sauce and white wine gravy
AUBERGINE
MOUSSAKA (
Vegi )
Sliced aubergines layered with puy lentils cooked with onions carrots, celery, tomatoes and herbs.
Topped
with white sauce flavoured with nutmeg and baked.
BEEF
CASSEROLE with onion, olives, tomato and basil
LAMB
SHANK (
£1.50 supplement )
served with mashed potatoes, onion and red wine gravy and a pot of home made
mint sauce.
KORMA
MUSHROOMS (
vegan ) Field
mushroom with an almond and onion stuffing. Served on a mildly spiced Korma
sauce
FILLET OF COD topped with mature Cheddar cheese .

with ‘patatas bravas’ potatoes
cooked with tomatoes, spices, garlic, chilli & parsley
PORK
FILLET marinated in garlic, olive oil, herbs and paprika
then roasted. Served on a creamy mushroom sauce
PUDDINGS
Puddings change a week later than the starters and main courses and will remain on the menu for 4 weeks till the weekend of 2nd / 3rd April

Finely sliced stem ginger, crushed meringues and chopped apricots stirred into whipped cream
COINTREAU CRÈME CARAMEL
A light, cointreau flavoured, crème caramel with a caramel topping
LEMON CURD ROULADE
A sponge roulade filled with cream and our own-made lemon curd. Served with raspberry coulis and topped with toasted almonds
CHOCOLATE ROLY POLY
Steamed suet roly poly pudding with a chocolate centre. Served hot with custardSMITHS’ ECCLES CAKES served with vanilla ice cream and a rum and raisin syrup
